The Japanese magnolias (known as "tulip trees" in some parts) bloom with the daffodils around here. These harbingers of spring are two of my favorites. I think the dogwoods will bloom next, but we don't have any of those in our yard. We'll be looking forward to the blooms of azaleas soon.
