Sunday

During Sunday School today, the children painted wooden crosses. The crosses will be labeled "painted especially for you by...." and will be given as gifts by the pastoral team to individuals who are hospitalized.

Kites

A local independent school hosted a play date for the FCC families. The theme was flying kites. The children painted kites, flew kites outside, and had storytime (The Legend of the Kite by Chen Jiang Hong).

Emily's Birthday Party

Anna had a fun time at a small birthday party for her friend, Emily. The girls got to dress up as princesses and got their fingernails painted too!

Snow

Yes, we get excited about snow around here, since this is the most we ever get. Nonetheless, Anna had a great time making and throwing "snowballs" this morning. She also briefly experienced "sledding," as she slipped down the hill in the front yard while running to a heavier patch of snow. She got up laughing, "Mommy, I sledded in the snow!"
