Chinese Cultural School

The second Saturday of each month (during the school year) is our FCC group's Chinese Cultural School. I'm not sure how much Mandarin or Chinese culture Anna is picking up, but she really enjoys spending the morning with friends and playing afterward.

"One Mation under God, Invisible, with Liverty..."

Anna told me she was the leader at school today. When I asked her what the leader did (expecting to hear that she was the first one in line), she said that the leader holds the flag. She ran to her room to get the little flag left over from July fourth and demonstrated the "pledge" and the song following it (God Bless America). The early attempt at the pledge of allegiance tickled me with its mispronunciations and malapropisms...learning a lot in pre-K!
