Beach Break - Last Day

Today was our last morning at the beach and before we left, Anna wanted to go feed the seagulls. Grandpa tagged along, too.

Beach Break - Day 6

After attending the Thanksgiving morning service at the church were I grew up, we spent the next part of the day on the beach (where we met up with Delaney again) and then at the pool (where Grandma watched from the balcony). Anna learned to do a flip in the pool and was so proud of herself. In the late afternoon, we came back up to the condo, got cleaned up, and started cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Anna said she was NOT tired.....but we had to wake her up to eat Thanksgiving dinner!

Beach Break - Day 5

When we got up this morning, we could see a heron (not pictured) and a group of manta rays from the balcony. It was another sunny, warm day. Anna and Grandpa had fun playing on the beach. Anna also met a little girl her age named Delaney. She and Delaney played on the sandbar (Anna called it the island) and swam in the gulf while the water was calm. I didn't have the camera, but it was lots of fun to watch! Later on in the evening, we got everyone out on the boardwalk to take pictures and watch the sun go down. Anna saw her new friend Delaney at the pool when we came back in. Grandpa and Grandma took us out to eat at their favorite restaurant for supper. Afterward, we went out looking for crabs with a flashlight and saw one about as big as my hand.

Beach Break - Day 4 PM

The grandparents and Aunt Jean arrived this afternoon. Anna was so excited to show Grandpa the beach and tell him about the manta rays.

Beach Break - Day 4 AM

What a beautiful, sunny morning...the waves were calm and the air was warm. The girls saw some more manta rays and enjoyed splashing in the gentle waves.
