Getting Ready...

I learned at preschool today that Anna is expected to give Valentines to her friends at the party on Thursday. The teachers even photocopied a list of names for all the parents. Since I generally don't like the commercial kiddy valentines (or maybe I just don't like taking a three-year-old to the store to get them), I decided we were going to make our own. I had some envelopes in the cabinet, some pink paper in the drawer, and some red paint left from Christmas...how hard could it be? At first, Anna said that she wanted to draw the hearts and then paint them. Once the paint was actually opened, though, she informed me that it would be better if I drew the hearts and she just painted.
